Lake Road Elementary, located east of Poplar Bluff on AA Highway near the Municipal Airport, has approximately 350 students and 32 staff members. We live the district mission: Achieving excellence through learning: Every child, every hour, every day. We hold a strong belief that every child can learn. Teachers go above and beyond to provide differentiated instruction in math and reading to meet the needs of each student. 

Lake Road Elementary is a Professional Learning Community and a Missouri Schoolwide Positive Behavior Support school (SW-PBS). A learning environment to support the academic and social success of all students has been created. Our theme is Lake Road ROCKS, based on the expectations that our students are Respectful, Outstanding, Cooperative, Kind and Safe.

Lake Road Elementary welcomes families and community members to visit, volunteer and get involved in our school. We believe that family engagement is critical to student achievement and school improvement. We have a strong partnership with the Rotary Club of Poplar Bluff and an exceptional Bright Futures site council. Together we provide amazing opportunities for our students throughout the school year.
